Boy, let me tell you, being married and moving into a house can be a lot of work. Good work and good times, don't get me wrong here but work never the less. So, let's talk about comic strips for a moment and what my plan is going forward.
- Inner Child - My almost three year long strip that went on a break about a month, will be coming back, but not for a little while. I need to build a substantial amount of backlog before moving forward. The boys are itching to get back onto your computer screens, phones and tablets. Lately, my work schedule at my actual money-paying job has switched to overnights so between that, sleep and actually finding time to spend with my lovely wife, comic writing, drawing and uploading comic strips of any kind of quality is a challenge. One that I am trying hard to meet since drawing is part of who I am.
Now comes the good bit...
My new project and second comic strip is coming along nicely. I have eighteen of the first twenty strips completed. I plan to drop these twice a week when they get rolling. One of the things about Inner Child was the fact that it didn't really feature much in the way of girls/women in the series. The trouble was that having a huge cast would interfere with the two guys living in a random comic strip.
This next series will feature a family. A father, a mother, a daughter and a son. It won't be a strip where the characters know they are in a strip. Just good old fashioned comedy. Once again, something anyone can read. This isn't a mature comic with the swearing or dirty jokes. I still believe in trying to make something that and adult and a kid can get something out of.
To the people that have read my stuff and shared it with others, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your patience in waiting. To the people that ignore my stuff? Heh, you never noticed I was gone. Take care everyone and God bless.
